Final Authority
Rule 23: The decision of the Principal shall be final and binding. The Principal shall have the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose conduct is not satisfactory.
1. Time & Attendance
Class Timings & Punctuality (R1)
Classes are held from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Students must reach the classes at least 5 minutes before the time and are not permitted to come late.
General Assembly Decorum (R2)
Be in the college in time for the general prayer. Students should keep silence during the general assembly and while moving to their respective classes.
Leaving the Classroom (R9)
No student shall leave the room when the class, lecture or programme is in progress except for unavoidable reasons. Leaving without permission is highly irregular.
Mandatory Attendance (R21)
Attendance at official functions, Independence Day, Republic Day, College Day etc. is compulsory.
2. Dress Code & Interpersonal Respect
Uniform & ID Card (R3)
Wear the uniform on prescribed days. Wearing the Students’ Identity Card is compulsory in all working days.
Greeting & Politeness (R4, R5)
Greet teachers on meeting them for the first time daily. Be polite, friendly, well-managed, respectful to teachers, and honest at all times.
Appearance & Cleanliness (R6)
Students should be clean, decent and modest in their dress and appearance. Keep the classroom clean and tidy.
3. Academic Commitment & Training
Dedication to Work (R7)
Negligence in studies, failure in assignments, examinations, irregular attendance, and disobedience are serious offences leading to expulsion.
Internship / Practice (R18)
Complete the teaching practice / internship programme without taking any leave and submit the sufficient number of prescribed practicums and practicals.
Library & Lab Access (R10, R13)
Utilise the library service to the maximum extent. Do not enter the laboratory without the consent of the lecturer in charge.
Study Tour (R17)
Study tour is a compulsory co-curricular activity and all students should participate in the same.
4. Campus Discipline & Security
Movement Discipline (R8)
Observe strict discipline while moving between classrooms and during intervals. Crowding, shouting, or loitering will be treated as indiscipline.
Meetings & Posters (R11)
No meeting or entertaining programme shall be organised, and no notice or poster circulated/pasted without the Principal's prior permission.
College Property (R12)
Furniture and devices should not be misplaced. Students shall be liable to bear the repair/replacement charges for any damage caused.
Mobile Phone Misuse (R22)
Misuse of Mobile Phones is strictly prohibited. Phones must be silent during class hours. College office phone use is only for extreme urgency.
Clean Campus (R15)
Trainees should co-operate to maintain a "Clean - green plastic free campus".
Loss of Valuables (R20)
No responsibility will be taken by the college authority for loss or damage of any costly materials brought by the students.
