The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), as proposed by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), functions as a quality sustenance and enhancement mechanism in higher education institutions, including B.Ed. Colleges and Teacher Education Institutes.
Establish a structured and systematic approach for continuous quality improvement in academic and administrative performance.
Organize seminars, workshops, faculty development programmes, and training sessions for teachers and student-teachers.
Encourage action research, project work, publications, and participation in academic conferences.
Ensure mentoring systems, grievance redressal, career guidance, and inclusive practices.
Promote core values such as integrity, responsibility, commitment, efficiency, and social responsibility among future teachers.
